Day 1: The big day is finally here as you arrive in the cosmopolitan city of Lima. Your guide will meet you at the airport and escort you directly to your hotel.

Day 2: The rich history of Peru is evident as you tour the colonial streets of Lima and learn about ancient cultures. Today you will also travel to Paracas on the Pan-American Highway, with a VIP bus service.

Day 3: Nature lovers will adore today’s festivities as you get to see sea lions, penguins, and the rich abundance of sea birds during your amazing tour of the Ballestas Islands. Following your tour, you will visit the Paracas National Reserve to admire the unique surroundings and learn more about this fascinating region.

Day 4: The Nazca Lines are an extraordinary sight . You can take an optional plane ride to view the markings from above, or climb the tower for a bird’s eye view following your visit to the Antonini Archaeological Museum. In the afternoon you will take the journey from Nazca to Arequipa.

Day 5: From the lively market of San Camilo to the historic Santa Catalina Monastery, Arequipa has a lot to offer the intrepid traveler. You will have plenty of opportunities to pick up an alpaca souvenir or two and wander the streets of the ‘White City’.

Day 6: The Andes Mountain Range is indeed picturesque, and today you can walk the second deepest canyon in the world, Colca Canyon. Explore Aguada Blanca National Reserve, enjoy a delicious traditional lunch and spend the night in the small village of Yanque.

Day 7: Condors are such graceful birds, and you can see them soar high in the sky above the Cruz Del Condor. Following this fantastic experience, you will head to Puno through the delightful countryside where you will spend the evening.

Day 8: Lake Titicaca and the floating islands of Uros are unlike anything else you will have seen. You will also visit Taquile Island and learn more about the handicrafts and textiles which are produced here.

Day 9: Today you will travel to Cusco via the Ruta del Sol stopping to visit villages and archaeological sites along the way.

Day 10: Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, you will tour Korikancha, Sacsayhuaman and other ruins surrounding the Inca capital. You will also have the chance to pick up a souvenir and sample the fresh fruit at San Pedro market.

Day 11: Pisac is known for its exceptional beauty, and today you will explore the ruins high above the town and visit the local Pisac market which is known for its quality silver products. After an enjoyable lunch in Urubamba you, will board the train to Aguas Calientes, the town surrounded by mountains on all sides and the gateway to Machu Picchu.

Day 12: The Inca citadel of Machu Picchu is even more inspiring when seen up close and today you will get to see the spectacular views of the site at sunrise. After a tour of Machu Picchu, you can choose to take an optional walk to Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain or relax and admire the incredible views. In the afternoon you will return to Cusco to celebrate your last evening in Peru.
