Bucaramanga was founded in 1622; however, most of its colonial architecture disappeared over the centuries, replaced by new and elegant neighborhoods. This city has several pleasant and peaceful green areas, and at night, the atmosphere is encouraged by its clubs and bars.
In Bucaramanga, you can stroll and relax in the Botanic Garden Eloy Valenzuela, visit the Museum House of BolÃvar, where the liberator Simón BolÃvar stayed in 1828, or if you prefer more exciting activities, do paragliding, the most popular sport in this city.
