Welcome to Peru! Upon arrival at Jorge Chavez Airport, you will be greet by a Peru InsideOut representative and transferred to your hotel.

After breakfast your Peruvian adventure begins with the visit of the iconic Parque del Amor in Miraflores, where the beauty of the surroundings is intertwined with art and poetry. Immerse yourself in the millennia-old history of the region by visiting the archaeological site of Huaca Pucllana. From there, you will walk to the imposing Plaza San Martín and the historic Plaza de Armas, where the impressive Cathedral and the grandeur of the colonial architecture are just preludes to the magnificence that awaits at the San Francisco Convent. This is a place that resonates with centuries of history and mystery, especially when descending into the catacombs. With each step, Lima unfolds before you. At the end of the visit, you will return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Lima.

After breakfast you will be board a private transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Cusco, a city steeped in history and surrounded by the magnificence of the Peruvian Andes. Upon arrival, you will begin the exploration of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, a land imbued with myths and ancestral legends. The first stop of the journey is the picturesque artisan market of Pisac, a place where local craftsmanship comes to life in the hands of skilled artisans. Next, you will visit the ancient and imposing Pisac Fortress s which is a reminder of this region’s glorious past. After a morning of exploration, it will be time to rest in a carefully selected hotel at the heart of the Sacred Valley, where the serenity of the mountains and natural beauty provide an unforgettable experience filled with peace and tranquility.

The day begins and new adventures await. After breakfast, the tour begins and the first stop will be the imposing Ollantaytambo Fortress, an architectural monument which is a silent witness to the greatness of the Inca Empire. From there, the journey continues through the rugged landscapes of the Sacred Valley on a legendary train. Arrival at Aguas Calientes, a vibrant town located 2,040 meters above sea level at the foot of the majestic Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Here you will meet the guide who will accompany you to your hotel.

Dawn breaks below the majestic Inca citadel. The long-awaited day has arrived; today you will visit one of the seven wonders of the modern world, the legendary Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. Your guide will explain the history and mystery of this archaeological wonder, while the ancient stones reveal their secrets with each step. Those who wish to do so can venture to climb to the top of Huayna Picchu or the Machu Picchu Mountain, depending on availability, challenging their physical limits while being rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views. In the afternoon, you will catch a train to Ollantaytambo, from where you will return to Cusco. Upon arrival in the city, located at 3,400 meters above sea level, you will be transferred to your hotel to relax. It is important to note that the visit to the ruins of Machu Picchu has a maximum duration of three hours, a rule that guarantees the preservation and respect for this world-renowned archaeological site.

The tour will then take you to the emblematic Plaza de Armas, at the heart of the city; later you will reach Koricancha, the Temple of the Sun, a sacred place that evokes the splendor and spirituality of the ancient civilization. Finally, you can immerse yourselves in the hustle and bustle and the colorful atmosphere of the local San Pedro market, where the aromas of spices and the freshness of local produce are emblematic of Cusco's culture.

After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to Cusco and embark on a new and fascinating stage of your adventure: Puerto Maldonado, a gateway to the lush world of the Amazon rainforest. After a short fight to Puerto Maldonado, you will be greeted by the staff of Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción and board a boat to reach your accommodation on the Madre de Dios River. After a 30-minute boat ride, you will discover a luxury refuge immersed in dense tropical vegetation where you will have the opportunity to enjoy the Amazon rainforest at its best. As night falls, a night boat ride on the river offers the possibility of spotting caimans and capybaras in their natural habitat, while the sounds of the jungle envelop visitors in a cloak of mystery and charm. Dinner will be served to end a day full of emotions and discoveries, before retiring to rest in the serene atmosphere of Hacienda Concepción, located on the riverbank and only 185 meters above sea level. Today is the last day in the Amazon rainforest, enjoy and savor the breakfast flavors. Then, the return journey to Lima begins, with a tranquil boat ride from the lodge to Puerto Maldonado Airport.
Upon arrival in Lima, you will be transferred to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 12. Peru farewell!

The last day has arrived and, after a memorable journey, it is time to bid farewell.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight.
