Day 1: A guide will be waiting for you at the airport of the capital Lima to take you will be taken to your hotel.
Day 2: Walking through the colonial streets in Lima you will discover the beauty and culture of this city. You will then travel along the famous Pan-American road which, between ocean views and breathtaking scenery, will take you to Paracas.
Day 3: Nature and landscapes will frame this beautiful day! Early in the day you will stop at the Ballestas Islands where you can admire penguins, sea lions and many other animals that have made these islands their home. Afterwards, a visit to the Paracas National Reserve will leave you speechless with its beautiful views.
Day 4: You will have the opportunity to fly over the famous lines of Nazca and to understand the mysteries of their origins. You will visit the Antonini Archaeological Museum and then leave for the city of Arequipa.
Day 5: Also called the "White City" Arequipa is where you will have the opportunity to discover the colorful market of San Camilo and the ancient Santa Catalina Monastery. You can also sip a Mate de Coca or buy the famous items made with alpaca yarns around the pretty streets of the center.
Day 6: The protagonists of the day will be the beautiful natural landscapes! You will discover the Colca Canyon, the second in the world for depth, and walk through nature in the Aguada Blanca National Reserve. At the end of the day you can then spend the night in the small village of Yanque.
Day 7: After admiring from the Mirador of the Cruz del Condor the great and majestic Andean Condor, with a wingspan of about 3 meters, departure for the city of Puno, the starting point for Lake Titicaca.
Day 8: The visit to the second highest navigable lake in the world will be an unforgettable experience! In fact, Lake Titicaca and its floating islands of Uros and Taquile will enable you to see local craftsmanship and traditions.
Day 9: Departure from Puno to Cusco and stop in small villages and archaeological sites along the way.
Day 10: With a visit to Sacsayhuaman, Korikancha and other archaeological sites you will discover the rich and interesting ancient culture of Inca civilizations is.
Day 11: Pisac is known for its beauty and for the ruins that overlook the city. Not to be missed is the local market famous for the quality of silver products. After lunch in Urubamba departure for Agua Calientes, entry point to the Machu Picchu citadel.
Day 12: It is time for the long-awaited visit to Machu Picchu! You can admire the extraordinary panorama at sunrise. The visit to the Huayna Picchu is optional but no one has ever been disappointed by the breathtaking view once you reach the top. Alternatively you can just decide to relax and enjoy the splendid view of one of the Wonders of the Modern World! At the end of the day you will return to Cusco.
Day 13: This is the day that ends the Machu Picchu Classic Tour. After the flight Cusco-Lima, you will say goodbye to the fantastic Peru filled with new memories, experiences and much more!
