Travel to Argentina - Destinations

Argentina is an immense country, where in just a few weeks you can cross radically different climates and landscapes. In this section we guide you through the main destinations proposed by Perú InsideOut, starting with Buenos Aires, the cosmopolitan capital of tango, and Córdoba, a university city with a rich Jesuit heritage.

To the north, Salta and Jujuy offer vividly coloured Andean landscapes, such as the Quebrada de Humahuaca and the Cerro de los Siete Colores, while to the west Mendoza is the undisputed capital of Argentine wine, with its vineyards at the foot of the Andes. On the border with Brazil, the spectacular Iguazú Falls are among South America's most imposing natural wonders.

In Patagonia, Bariloche enchants with its lakes and alpine scenery, while the legendary Ruta 40 crosses the country from north to south along the Andes mountain range. Further south, El Calafate and El Chaltén open the door to the Perito Moreno Glacier and the peaks of Fitz Roy, all the way to Tierra del Fuego and Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, at the end of the Earth.
