Nazca Lines to Lima
The Nazca Lines to Lima Tour begins in the city of Nazca, where the worldwide famous Nazca Lines are located. The desert, the sand dunes and the Pacific Ocean will be the backdrop scenery for your tour; along the way you will make various cultural and natural visits: the Lines in Nazca, the Ica Regional Museum, the Museo Larco in Lima, the Ballestas Islands and the Paracas Natural Reserve in Ica. There will also be time for a bit of adventure in Huacachina with sand boarding and a sand-buggy experience.
DAY 1. The enigmatic Nazca Line
The tour starts in Nazca with the visit of the most interesting museum in town: the Antonini Museum. During the visit you will admire some replicas of burial rituals practiced by the Nazca and Paracas cultures, as well as a reproduction of the Nazca Lines and an original aqueduct of the time that runs through the back garden of the Museum. The tour continues with a visit to a viewpoint to see some of the Nazca Lines: a lizard, a tree, and the hands.
In the afternoon, you then head out of the city of Nazca to see the Cantallo Acueducto and the very interesting Cementerio de Chauchilla, which has bones, skulls, and mummies on display. The flight of over the Nazca Lines is optional.

The museum hosts a replica in scale of the Nazca lines and a working pre-Columbian aqueduct. Next, you will head on the outskirt of Nazca to a metallic viewpoint to admire some of the Nazca Lines: the lizard, the tree, and the hands. The excursion continues experiencing one of the most interesting cultural sites: the Chauchilla Cementery. Here, you will see how ancient local cultures buried their elders. Finally, the visit comes to an end with the exploration of the Cantallo Aqueduct. End of the tour and free afternoon, before arriving in Arequipa.
