Day 1. Puerto Maldonado

Monkey Island
Our tour starts at the airport in Puerto Maldonado. We pick you up with a private bus and make a quick tour of Puerto Maldonado.
After our tour of the city, we transfer to a small river port nearby. From there, we travel, by motorized boat, on the Madre de Dios River.
Along the way, you will be immersed in the natural surroundings of the Peruvian Amazon and easily observe a wide range of animal species.
Upon arrival at the Eco Lodge, we enjoy a delicious tropical fruit drink. We will have then lunch and then settle into one of the lodge’s bungalows.
In the afternoon, along with our expert guide, we set off to visit Monkey Island. Along the way, we are surrounded by breath-taking landscapes and lush plant life.
Monkey Island is home to various species of monkeys, such as spider monkeys, capuchins, and lion monkeys. Also inhabiting Monkey Island are puffins, as well as the coati, sloth, and a vast variety of bird life.
From the island, we take in the sunset, one of the most impressive moments in the Amazon jungle.
At the end of the day, we return to the lodge for a pleasant dinner.
Day 2. Lost Cocha

Lost Cocha
After breakfast, our second day begins with an expedition into the rainforest. Accompanied by our guide, we venture out to the Lost Cocha (the Lost Lake).
Here, we have a good chance of seeing otters, caimans, turtles, sachavacas, birds of every colour, a variety of fish, and, with a bit of luck, the majestic jaguar.
This is a protected area and you will appreciate its virtually untouched, virgin feeling. Afterwards, we return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, we go for a visit to the nearby botanical gardens; or, you can simply relax and rest in the bungalows.
At night, we enjoy a tasty dinner.
Day 3. Gamitana River

Gamitana River
On the third day, we go up the Gaminata River, navigating its impressive curves. This is an amazing opportunity to observe turtles, caimans, birds, butterflies, and a wide variety of exotic, Amazonian insects.
In the afternoon, there’s an opportunity to fish or take a dip in the river, too.
Finally, at the end of the day, we return to the lodge to enjoy a delicious dinner.
Day 4. Puerto Maldonado
This end our peruvian amazon adventure tour, after breakfast, we return to Puerto Maldonado for flights to Lima or Cusco.
