The Lares trek is a step back in time as you watch life unfold around you, unchanged over many centuries. As you trek through the Sacred Valley the farming activities will surround you with locals working in the fields, tending their flocks and weaving textiles in the same way as their ancestors. Surrounding placid villages with mud huts and thatched roofs, you will admire breath-taking snow-capped mountain peaks, blue lakes and thermal baths. Culminating in Machu Picchu, the Lares Trek will enable you to enjoy culture and nature in equal parts.
