Day 1. Welcome to Santiago de Chile

After breakfast, city tour to discover La Moneda Palace, a grand building designed by an Italian architect, Joaquin Toesca, the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral, the Main Post Office and the Natural Art Museum. The Cerro Santa Lucia is a beautiful park with panoramic views of the city. Overnight stay in the same Santiago hotel before setting off on the adventure that awaits.
Day 3. San Pedro de Atacama: excursion to the Valley of the Moon

After breakfast, transfer to Santiago’s airport for a flight to Calama where you will discover the beauty of the desert landscapes in San Pedro de Atacama. During the afternoon excursion to the Valley of the Moon you will admire the numerous rocky formations eroded over the centuries by wind and rain. The scenery resembles the surface of the moon, hence its name. Overnight stay in San Pedro de Atacama.

Departure to Bolivia where you will be stunned by amazing landscapes. Bolivia, like other Andean countries, is located above the so called “Ring of Fire” – an area of intense volcanic activity. The Avaroa National Reserve will amaze you with its Lagunas des Colores (Laguna Blanca, Laguna Verde and Laguna Colorada) and their awesome colours. You will visit the Sol de Mañana, a geyser field and hot mud pools fed by the underground volcanic activity. Lunch and dinner are included and you will stay in basic accommodation. Day 5. Siloli Desert

Further on you will admire extraordinary landscapes in Bolivia, such as the Siloli Desert, well known for the Arbol de Piedra (the Stone Tree) created by ancient volcanic erosions and the wind; and the Bosque de Piedras (Stone Forest) with over 4,000 rock formations.
Later you will visit many lakes: Ramaditas, Hedionda and Canapa, and along the route you will be able to see many traditional Andean villages. Overnight stay in basic accommodation. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.
Day 6. Salar de Uyuni and arrival in La Paz

After breakfast, the tour will take you to the fascinating Locomotive Cemetery. Later you will reach the long awaited Salar de Uyuni, the largest salt flat in the world, lying at 3,659 m above sea level. The Salar flat was created by the drying up of a prehistoric lake and it is estimated that it contains over 10 billion tons of salt. Salt is an integral part of daily life in this region and you will also be able to watch how it is extracted and refined in Colchani.
Incahuasi (or Inka wasi) Island situated above an ancient volcano has cacti that can reach 12 meters in height and will be the last stop before going back to the airport to catch a flight from Uyuni to La Paz. Overnight stay at the Rosario Hotel in La Paz, the highest capital in the world - at approx. 4,000 meters above sea level.
Day 7. Visit to La Paz

After breakfast you will discover the city with a guided tour of historical buildings on the backdrop of the snow-capped Illimani mountain. Later a visit to the Coca Museum to learn about its history and finally the witches market where you will discover a range of potions and lotions. Given its geographic configuration, La Paz has a cable car from where one enjoys exceptional panoramic views of the city and the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay in the same hotel in La Paz.
Day 8. Peru awaits: Arrival in Puno

After breakfast you will travel by bus to Puno and on the way, if you wish, you can visit the pre-Columbian archaeological site of Tiwanaku. Arrival at the hotel in Puno.
Day 9. Lake Titicaca: Uros & Taquile Islands

The famous Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, has a surface stretching 8,400 square metres and sits at 3,810 meters above sea level. After breakfast you will visit the famous Uros Islands aboard a boat leaving from the Port of Puno. These floating islands are built with layers of totora that grows in the lake: each island has to be constantly regenerated with new layers of totora as it deteriorates over time.
Later, you will visit Taquile, an island that has been inhabited for thousands of years. In 2005 the art of weaving and knitting on Taquile have become part of the UNESCO World Intangible Heritage. After lunch, return to Puno for a free evening. Overnight stay in the same hotel in Puno.
Day 10. From Puno to Cusco: the Manco Capac route

The trip to the Imperial city of Cusco will be on board a comfortable bus. On route, the first stop will be Pukara, at 3,876 meters above sea level. This city was the cradle of one of the first civilizations of Southern Peru and became famous for its traditional ceramic bulls – an animal considered the protector of families and cattle. You will also visit the Lytic Museum.
Later in the afternoon you will reach the La Raya mountain pass: the highest point sits at 4,310 meters above sea level. Buffet lunch in a restaurant in Sicuani. Then visit to the "Wiracocha Temple". The last stop will be Andahuaylillas, known as the "Sistine chapel of Peru". Built by the Jesuits, its walls are covered by numerous frescos and the ceiling has many decorative elements. Arrival in Cusco, the Imperial city, and free evening. Overnight stay at the San Agustin International Hotel.
Day 11. Sacred Valley of the Incas

Breakfast and departure to the "Sacred Valley of the Incas." First stop Pisaq and the archaeological remains of this fortress that, before the arrival of the Spaniards, constituted one of the beating hearts of the Empire. The tour continues with a visit to the Pisaq handicrafts market that will fascinate you with its colors and the living culture he hands down.
On the way you will stop in Urubamba for lunch. The tour ends with an excursion to the citadel and fortress of Ollantaytambo. The pueblo of Ollantaytambo is one of the living examples of how an Inca settlement functioned at the time. Day 12. Excursion to Machu Picchu

Visit to Machu Picchu, a mandatory stop for travelers to Peru. Much has been written about this unique place, but to experience it in person is an experience that remains etched in the memory. The setting of the Lost City of the Incas seems surreal, and our guide will share with you the secrets of the architecture of this Wonder of the Modern World. The efforts of those who wish to climb Huayna Picchu (optional) or the Mountain will be rewarded by a spectacular view of Machu Picchu.

Day 13. Cusco: the Inca capital

After breakfast, the excursion to the Inca capital: Cusco will begin! The tour begins with a view of the "Temple of the Sun" or better known as Koricancha. The excursion continues with a view of the royal palace "Hatun Cancha Rumi" where the famous 12 corners stone is located. You will continue to San Blas to admire the local handicrafts and narrow streets that characterize the Bohemian quarter of Cusco. Continue to the Plaza de Armas to admire the cathedral and the main square. Finally, it will be time to visit the Mercado de San Pedro.
