Day 1. Bogota
Upon arrival at Bogota airport, a private transfer with an English-speaking guide will take you to your hotel.

Bogota City Tour
After breakfast you will go on a city tour accompanied by an English-speaking guide. You will stroll through the old town and will admire the Colón Theatre, the San Carlos Palace, the Saint Ignacio Church, the Nariño Presidential Palace, Bolívar Square, the Capitolio Nacional, the Alcaldía Mayor and the Cathedral. Later you will visit the Museo de Oro and the Botero Museum. At the end of this tour, you will take a cable car to reach the Cerro de Monserrate (3,150 m above sea level) from where you will admire a breath-taking view of the city below. The afternoon will be free and you can relax in the small streets of the Columbian capital.

Day 3. Bogota / Zipaquirà / Villa de Leyva

After breakfast at the hotel, the day will start with a half-day excursion to Zipaquirà which is 50 km from the capital city. You will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide. During the transfer you will see some interesting sites such as the Sabana in Bogota and the Puente del Comun. Once in Zipaquirà, there will be a visit to the Salt Cathedral built in a mine at 190 meters below sea level. Later, you will travel to Villa de Leyva, where you will visit its historical heritage with the Ecce Homo Monastery and the El Fósil Museum.

Day 4. Villa de Leyva / Bogota airport / Armenia

After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Raquirà, the undisputed capital of Colombian arts and crafts. Later you will be taken to Bogota airport to board a plane to Armenia. On arrival, private transfer with English-speaking guide to the hotel. Dinner is included.

Cocora National Reserve
After breakfast you will spend your day discovering the Quindìo region starting from Filandia, famous for its square surrounded by ancient houses refurbished with the bright colours of traditional buildings in this area. Later you will enjoy a full immersion in the flora and fauna of the Cocora National Reserve before visiting the outstanding Salento village with typical coloured houses and craftsmen boutiques. Return to your hotel, dinner is included and overnight stay.
Day 6. Armenia

Coffee Plantations
After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the coffee plantations in Cordoba. There will be a stop for lunch in a typical “finca” before travelling on to Pijao, where you will be able to admirer the typical architecture of this region and the famous “Los Recuerdos” Bar. Once you reach the Luqman Cafè you will enjoy a delicious cappuccino. The tour will end at the Hacienda Cafè San Alberto where you will have the opportunity to have an optional tasting of the best cups of coffee in the world, for an additional price. Back at the hotel for your overnight stay and dinner is included in the price.
Day 7. Armenia / Cartagena

After breakfast, a private transfer will take you to the airport to catch a flight to Cartagena with a touch-down in Bogota. On arrival you will be taken to your hotel by an English-speaking guide.

After breakfast there will be a private city tour with an English-speaking guide. The itinerary will start with a visit to the modern quarter and will then continue with the visit of the Popa Convent (or as an alternative the San Pedro Claver Convent) and the Castillo de San Felipe. Finally you will stroll through the historical centre to admire the old streets, monuments, parks, churches and other interesting sites. The afternoon will be free.

Day 9. Cartagena / Isla del Encanto

Isla del Encanto
After breakfast at the hotel, we will take you to the quay from where the all-day excursion to the Isla del Encanto will begin. This is a famous island, a small paradise part of the Rosario archipelago with white sandy beaches and clear blue sea.
You will make your way back to the hotel from the quay at your leisure. Overnight in Cartagena.
Day 10. End of the tour
After breakfast, private transfer to the airport to catch your international flight.
